3 Ways To Deal With Rejection

Rejection always stings, but you can change your outlook so it doesn’t hurt as much.

It doesn’t matter what stage you are in life. It doesn’t matter what you’ve been rejected on. Rejection always stings. And it’s not something you get used to.

  • It could be on a job you applied for.
  • It could be for a school application you submitted.
  • It could be on an article you just published.

And you could be rejected for many reasons:

  • Lack of skills
  • Lack of education (or three letter acronyms after your name)
  • Lack of experience
  • Lack of connections
  • The way you sound
  • The way you look

There is no such thing as a “trivial” rejection. What you think is trivial for you may not be trivial for someone else. It’s all relative. The level of sting depends on the value you place on it.

Rejection can come in many forms and relayed to us in many ways.

Rejection that you didn’t even know happened

This won’t sting … not right away at least. Like being passed over for a promotion that…
